I don't see the correlation. Just because a game sells alot doesn't mean that people suddenly like input lag, barebones content, and long loading times, plus there's PC for that. If anything people request for less loading times and ask people to play wired, it's more tolerate than "love"
If it was unacceptable then people wouldn't be buying it, but T7 is one of the best selling fighting games of this gen even with all it's issues. People tolerating it is what lowered standards means.
Not really tbh, tolerating something doesn't meaning lower standards. They buy the game because they like the game ITSELF, not the issues that aren't that major to begin with if you invest in the right system/equipment.
People are going to buy T7 and SF games just like people buy the same COD over and over. Keep in mind selling to casual players makes them profit which is why these games go barebones. The real question is why are people playing fg's with no rollback in them.
2. There is no "standard" Cause every fg doesn't have rollback or in game frame data as we would like them too. People tolerate it cause they so call love the game and won't play other games with quality of life features. SFV came out to evo with 5,000 participants don't listen to the fgc lol.
