As of right now? I'll probably still be a gamer. My septuagenerian parents still watch TV, and an equally old Aunt still listens to radio stories. Basically, whatever media you consumed when you were a youth will likely still resonate with you when you're older unless it's an overtly juvenile activity.

For gaming in particular, the medium has come A LONG WAY since how it was in the late 80's, early 90's. It's mindblowing how much the medium has advanced. I will say this straight up, as long as you have your priorities straight, do not give a fuck about anyone who downplays gaming. Especially don't listen to anyone that didn't grow up with gaming, because they will simply not understand the medium.
