Yeah keep telling people. Ranked in 3D fighting games are a flawed system. Throw it in the garbage. Make lobbies the permanent go-to and remove rank so that it doesn't give people the perception that it's some cool thing.

@DestructionBomb The concept of rank has destroyed the mentalities and capabilities of 3D fighting game players. Tekken especially, my god, but DOA is just as bad. And I know y'all know what I'm on about. 3D fighting games need to go back to the "anyone-fights-anyone" approach to matchmaking. Fast.

Yeah Ranked in 3D fighters is straight-up balls. It's exacerbated by the godawful netcode in all the 3D fighters. I can never play online like how I play offline.

The idea of ranked mode itself is fine, its execution is absolutely not lmao.
FG devs consistently make points cheatable, save-scummable, resettable, fail to punish forfeits, and MOST IMPORTANTLY refuse to use the damn Elo rating system which fits 1v1 fgs PERFECTLY... instead they give us joke stuff like win streak bonuses, ranks called "U+" or "Byakko"... guys what the FUCK is a BYAKKO??
