Obviously 4K is not the norm for fighting games and unimportant to put things on Youtube. this is not a flex or anything as I want things to look clean, but would this also mean that DOA is the 3D fighter with the highest 4K content out there? even DOAX/VV has 4K videos.

Course you certainly don't need 4K to showcase a fighting game, but it seems like there is potential out there when it comes to anything high quality without loss of bitrate since Youtube compresses videos to look choppy. 4K vids are not compressed (least not currently).

For anyone curious, i'm around 80+ vids in 4K for 3D fighter category (DOA mostly though).

For fighting games that can output in 4K on a console such as the XseX; DOA6, MK11U, KI, and SamSho are the only FG's with 4K resolution capability. Essentially DOA6 is the only 3D fighter than can output in 4K on console.

As for PC, basically any modern JP FG on Steam can output in 4K (though good luck getting it to actually run well in 4K60fps without a GTX 1080 or RTX 2080 or better). 3D FG's are mad GPU heavy on PC.

@Force_of_Nature Oh no no, I meant in the general sense for the amount that's out there ahaha. You can record practically anything in 4K with a HDMI splitter and doing a bypass. Even Spooky and Furby has one for fighting games.
