hmmm, that's interesting, don't remember a thing about Vesperia and i've never played Abyss but one the best parts of Berseria was how charming and likable the main cast was (even Magilou has grown on me with time)

so hearing that the new cast are as cuddly as cacti is disappointing, but like you said im sure they grow on you with time

@Camel with 2 thumbs I'm actually glad you mentioned Magilou actually as she is arguably my favorite Tales character. Granted I still consider Berseria to have a moderate cool cast overall vs most Tales cast from other games. It's still in my top 5 good casts for Tales series.

I like mostly everyone there except Velvet and Laphicet. Velvet was pretty awful throughout the entire game (least for me). The whole edge revenge thing from the character just doesn't look engaging, even killing Artorias just didn't look as great on filling that character void for well earned vengeance, it just looked weird. It's like FF Lightning increased x3 but just as worse (if not more).

@Camel with 2 thumbs Arise so far is pretty damn fun imo. Story starts off slow (hey it happens) but it's starting to pick up pretty well. By sandpaper topic from earlier, it's early stage sandpaper so not full on sandpaper (still way early in the game), I'll have to meet more characters along the way, plot etc.
