iirc, KT never received the phone call for anything. It was only my guess regarding that one article about Shimbori if it was possible to add Hayabusa in Smash, he says it sounded amazing but never had a phone call for it. I imagine it's the same thing here.

Yeah, from what I know KT and even TN were pretty much all for it and was just waiting for Nintendo to ask. I mean fine, they couldn't find a place for a KT character, but they didn't even consider them for Mii costumes? Man.

I think it's more on the lines that Nintendo just never bothered to call rather than not finding a character for a KT/TN representative lol.
