The problem with the Game Awards is that it has become this established foundation of what game companies would strive for, which is both a good thing and bad thing. Astro Bot not being a gacha-based game by winning as a finished product and not consistently becoming money focused is perfectly ok and what the standard of most games should do, similar to Elden Ring.
