Still, so weird to just see the new console be a refined & upgraded version of their last one. Nintendo usually always finds a way to innovate (or what a lot of people like to call "gimmicks"). Maybe the draw for this one will actually be a satisfying jump in power? I really love how the new controllers connect now, though.
For Nintendo innovating at this point WOULD be to be on stronger hardware. I will say that with Switch backwards they finally have built an ecosystem. But for me I own all the cartridges for past systems, and all of their past systems so their pathetic Nintendo membership needs some serious work and a lot more than "rent our old, emulated games with no enhancements." That only works on people that didn't preserve.
