I wish there was direct evidence, like a pic of her name in credits somewhere. It's possible... Nagashima was born in 1970 she she would have been 19 or 20 when that sound was recorded. Maybe her earliest work, uncredited? It'd be so cool if true, that sound is so famous and literally everywhere:

Cool. Now play the game. Also it would be great that she showed up in an Anime North convention just like Mari Shimizu, the seiyuu of the original Astro Boy. Its just a damn shame there were less people who attended their panel. If it wasnt for her and the speed racer original actor, there won't be any Anime North or anime in general.
