Wait what! TGS was never good? : o last years were pretty good.

I'd say the roughest part this year is companies having multiple streams now due to scheduling, and there were some games that I seen already. Plus the VF one was definitely meh.

But to say TGS was never good is a bit insane considering TGS is usually TN's best spot and the more likely candidate than anything else out there for things like DOA. Like are people actually expecting DOA this year or something and calling it not good because of it? lol.

This year's TGS was alright, but there are WAY worse events out there.

I've been watching TGS since before Halo 2 and I've never really been impressed with it. Sometimes we get a really big announcement, but most years; especially within the past ten it hasn't been anything to get excited about IMO. Like I said, this year was a repeat of the Direct and State of Play with Yakuza 3. Not trying to be too big of a buzzkill, but ya.

I think DOA can be revealed during ANY Sony or Microsoft event. We can’t predict it like oh, they have Nioh3 news and post release dlc so that’s why we won’t get news during 2026. They can even outsource it and we won’t know about it. Reveal can happen even this December, they don’t talk much about their plans.

Yeah I pretty much agree with this. KT seems off the cuff with their announcements. NGIIB came out left field for sure.

@gfg$ oh so IT IS about doa LOL. TGS has always been the more believable one because TN / KT allows for their games to fully express themselves & a higher percentage for reveals due to native games for Japan studios. DOAVV news being one of them ironically. You think they'll show DOAVV at The Game Awards this December? lolol (which i'm assuming that's what you are referring to).
