I can't 100% confirm but I heard Punishere never liked me or Codemaster either with DOA years back, least what someone told me. Something about betraying DOA.

If you look at his tweets he's about as self-absorbed as they come. He literally points the finger to his own engagements and says, "look what I did." He never gives the credit to anyone else or puts anyone else in a light that makes them feel like they might matter as well. VERY fickle individual. I've been nice to the guy over the years, and I never once felt like he pointed back into the same direction.

@DestructionBomb Basically, he fell off hard after DOA 4 because DOA 4 was an extremely scrubby game competitively and never required much of him to begin with. Rather than doing some reflection on that fact and trying to improve, he just blames every game that came after it, and anyone who did well at those games is clearly at fault for "killing the series".

I can't believe he would actually stoop as low as accuse an entire website and the competitive community of deliberately pleasing people who touch kids, when he KNOWS better than that.

I never took him seriously, he always was just an account that just gooned for all the main FG asian girls, even when DOA6 was out he only posted when he saw it was a hot topic and when it benefited him, he's never been genuine imo

I had to stretch my brain back to remember the guy who ran Evo... I'm guessing that's what he's doing... He's using "FSD" as a catch-all term for "the competitive/e-sports DOA scene" (guess he's never seen the huge XVV thread here, lol) and saying anyone who wants DOA to be a competitively viable and "serious" game (not just gameplay-wise but aesthetically) was kowtowing to a hypocritical pedo's "core values".

I really have to stetch my mind back (not sure if I'm remembering right), but back around 15 years ago when I just started looking into DOA's communities (got into DOA World), I remember some talk that some place... maybe it was FSD or DOAC, not sure, had a rep of being unfriendly to "casuals" or non-competitive players and discouraged any support of DOA's fanservice.

But in 2025 I think that's an archaic idea to still be holding, I don't feel that's the case anywhere in the community today in any substantial/organized way. It helped a lot that DOA5 showed it was possible for a DOA to not only have gameplay that satisfies competitively but also takes fanservice to another level... the game still became both a hit and had support. Makes DOA6's direction all the more confusing.

@DestructionBomb I'd love to hear how his warped mind correlates competition and pedophilia. Especially considering some of the stuff he posts.

@Rikuto To be quite honest.. I'm still rather confused for his end goal here. Still not entirely sure what he is trying to accomplish. He has a platform but yet as far as i'm aware, he's barely making use of it to promote said series in a positive light, mostly just constantly digging up other players or their work.

I guess if he wants to claim as best Leifang in his own head then by all means (though such a thing seems rather unfair considering Terurock and even Blackmoon represented and put more work for years now during 5's run, he could of tried to be up there with them), but to pass around pedophilia so casually like that was not on my bingo card.

Apparently the guy just never liked me, Sly, and Code as we were invaders (least what I heard). That Team NINJA pleased and supported the wrong people or something. This was years ago and I really didn't hear about it since then. I kinda just ignored it from there on as "eh well... can't please everybody".

@DestructionBomb He's a middle aged overweight bald guy with a fixation on gooning to anime girls and has a relatively mid-level legacy performance in a game most people would rather forget about competitively. I don't say any of that to be mean, people have a right to be any of those things, but rather I say this to highlight why he is most likely as insecure as he is.

Never even seen him use a camera, either. Guy found a way to build an echo chamber free of criticism. And that's totally fine right up until he starts stepping on other people's toes.

@Rikuto It sounds like he's legit on the gooner mindset (especially the negative connotation side) in it's entirety from the looks of it then. He certainly makes it part of the steering wheel unfortunately.

I never minded it personally for why the games sell with it, but if it becomes the driving force to who they are as a person then they are pretty much a lost cause yeah.
