What's your reason for avoiding beginner characters? Hayate is considered one btw. It would be a good idea to use one until you get a feel for the game then move on to a character that may suit you better.
I don't have any problem using a beginner character, but I do prefer using a character that may be a bit harder than the beginner type character but im not against using a beginner character.
Who are generally considered a beginner character in the game?
I do like the styles of Hayate, Kasumi, Hitomi, Momiji, and Jann Lee. You think I should stick to a beginner type till I get use to how the game is played? If I were to pick a beginner type character to stick with it would be Kasumi or Hayate.
Yes and definitely hold on to the character you first choose as well. Alot of people make the mistake of assuming beginner characters are characters that are easy to win with but that is not the case. Speaking from experience it is difficult to win with Ein.
But the important thing about characters like him is that when I do manage to win, it was because I outplayed my opponent and used the games mechanics to my advantage. Beginner characters are there for that purpose mainly.
Some may be easier to win with like rachel, but most teach you valuable skills through playing them. One moment I'll link you to a post about this I made.
