NG2 has its moments and it can be epic fighting mass amounts of enemies, but there is a lot of shit also such as a godawful tunnel sequence in Chapter 9. NG2 relied too much on blatant cheapness for its difficulty making luck too much of a factor. I honestly preferred NG3:RE's to NG2.

It's not too bad once you get used to it. You just need to adjust to its recovery. I also like how it can be used offensively. NGS2 does have a nice dodge though.
