If he plays anything like I do? by trying to play it the wrong game I feel sorry for him haha. I tend to try play NG like DMC.

My best friend refuses to use the block button in pretty much any game odd considering he's a VERY smart gamer, at least compared to me that is. usually great with strategy and RPG builds

I wish, haha. But he's not interested in the game competitively. He just plays casually.

He needs some motivation ... TRASH TALK! That'll get him motivated. Make him main Hayate so you guys can be a male Ninja tag team XD

He mains Ein (and Kokoro), which works better for me since Ryu and Ein have full tag animations whereas Ryu/Hayate do not.
