Nice! I read the books, A Song of Ice and Fire. I just started the 5th one and it's so good lol. And it's so sad too! I was on the verge of tears towards the end of the 4th book. But you'll have to wait to seasons for that since season 3 and 4 split book 3. Are you caught up? The Red Wedding.
I don't read the books mainly because I enjoy the show so much that I would rather experience the narrative in that medium.
I am caught up as far as the show's last season, so I have gotten past the Red Wedding. I have mixed feelings on it, but I won't pass final judgement until I see how it affects the characters arcs of the remaining characters.
Yeah. It didn't really affect me on Robb's part since he is a secondary character and everything he does during the war was given in second hand accounts. Mama Stark on the other hand, she could be annoying but I did like her. Not Sansa! Lol sure she's naive and believed in Cersei but she knows not to trust her anymore (that whore of a queen) and plus the domestic abuse. D:
But that's just it. She's a victim 24/7 and that's the end of it. She never does anything noteworthy except sit there, receive abuse and make bad decisions that put her in situations where she receives even more abuse.
Also, am I the only one who gets a creepy sado-masochist pedo vibe from George R. R. Martin?
That's true but she does get better lol. Joffrey is a little turd though. All of the Lannisters suck except for Jaime and Tyrion. I like Brienne a lot too.
