When people do the most stupid holds like a random mid k hold when there's no reason to think a mid k is coming and they work it's so ''are you fucking KIDDING ME."

A lot of people seem to hold low after getting hit by Lei's 4P even if I've never done my usual low kick trip. There are practically no Leis on PSN yet people consistently do this.

I had a case where someone held everything I did. Everything. Mix ups I never used before were held.
Wouldn't even let me throw.

I took a days break after that match. I was pretty angry lol

Sometimes it's luck, but if it's happening frequently the person is clearly reading you. My train of thought is usually to counter something that isn't connected to a string. For instance with Kasumi people will mix up her CB with a mid kick launcher. So I'll go for a kick counter instead of the CB. I know with me the trick is to counter the opposite of what you think hahaha cause it's usually accurate.

Gotta be all sorts of lucky to counter my Ayane like that.

Point I make here is that everything I usually do, as part of my gameplay patterns, was held. After none of it worked, everything I threw that was brand spanking new, was countered.
