I might be the only one, but I honestly liked the new characters from 5 and 6. Would like Claire to come back, though.

I don't really care for the old RE characters. I feel they out lived themselves and RE need new characters which is not going to happen because the community bitches about any new characters Capcom tries to make.

tbf not all of them are outlived, its mainly the 4 I listed, Claire has only been in 2 games as well as Rebecca and Barry has still yet to physically appear in a game since RE1 (i'm talking story-wise ofcourse) As for new characters I'm all for them its just that most of them only appear in one or two games and then never appear again

The characters they introduced in revelatons were pretty good, I liked Parker. And I really do want Rebecca, Barry, Carlos, and Billy to return.

Revaluations just looked ugly to me I saw some game play of it and I couldn't understand where the hype was coming from.

The hype comes from the fact it's more like a horror game than RE5 ORC and RE6, it also had a decent story and good characters and gameplay. It probably looked "ugly" because it was a simple port of a 3DS game

when it comes to new characters i really liked Sheva well let me sort of rephrase that i like SHEVA AND CHIRS as partners they had a very good relationship

and throughout the game you could see them getting even more and more attached to one another and during the plane air-lock scene where Sheva is about to sacrifice herself for Chirs you see why Chirs is getting attached to her BECAUSE SHE REMINDS HIM OF JILL i just thought that was pretty cool they tried to sort of do the same thing in RE6 but it didnt work cause its been used to many times now

Reminds me of the good times of trolling my partner and letting them die during the cutscenes, much laughs were had.

Claire story is outlived. She has no reason to be in a re game. Jill story is done(unless a revelation sequal) and they should have retired Chris and Leon would be the only one left so we need new characters. We won't get new characters because fans never accept them, and bitch whenever they get rid of a older one.

Also you can't switch re4 controls to re5. I can't 360 turn with the right stick instead you have that look to the left or right crap.

they could put the younger RE characters in the new game like Sherry,Jake,Ashley,Sheva,Rebecca and Jessica (those are the youngest characters i can think of lol)

im pretty sure that they are going to put leon in there and i have a feeling Jill might be there as well maybe even the whole big name cast im pretty sure this is going to be the last major RE game so there most like r going to say "fuck-it lets make it a big family reunion"

Jill story is done. So seeing her in the main story anymore is unlikely. I agree with the younger characters, though. I just don't see it happening with all the whining.

I like the new characters. Would be lame if they were just in 1 game. Helena at least looks like she might stay.

The revelations characters should return given the little teaser at the end.

They should use the Rev characters, Sheva, Sherry, Jake, Helena and Rebecca. I also don't mind seeing Ada stick around since she has room for more games.
