    The Izunas are coming out nicely with an arcade stick. Which means the problem was with how I pressed the directions on my DS3.

    welcome back!
    I was just playing on 360 standard controller/D-pad for SCR. It was a weird adjustment at first, but after I got used to it, I actually found Izunas to be quite easy on it. Maybe it's just me not being used to offline, but I was tossing out solid Izuna holds and shohos like no tomorrow.

    Offline is so sexy it makes me hard

    Not really. Master had a combo video in Vanilla, but to be honest it was more of just a spectacle than a list of practical things to use.
    I do have a write-up I've been passing around to help with getting the reigns on Ryu. Covers beginner-to-intermediate stuff, but it is kinda long so if you don't have a lot of free time, it's not the best option.
    That said, if you want it, I can send it to you.

    The buffer system is a bit stricter in Ultimate, particularly on the Shoho.

    Not much you don't already know. Buffer the punches early so that you can focus on the 360- spinning. Offline, you want to hit the T right as you hear the SFX for the second punch hit. Online, you want to hit T slightly before that.

    While some people can use one character and be okay. I still believe its good to have a character on the side. So that the side characters strengths are your mains weaknesses. That way all is balanced. That being said Rachel is similar to Tina slow does a lot of damage ect. Use Helena
