yeah Ryu would most likely win. Though I'd still like to see how they interact with one another. I want to see more VF and DOA character interaction like Kokoro and Akira.

Kage is indeed the next popular out of the 4 that came in. I do agree that Hayabusa will kill the guy lol. I wouldn't be surprised if they ended up as a tag team if he was part of the roster.

Hayate is also a "badass" and yet Ryu slaps him around like a bitch. One does not fight Ryu and emerge with a draw. One gets slaughtered. I could breakdown canon reasons why regarding Hayabusa's supeman-esque OP qualities that essentially make him OP to almost every other game character, but there isn't much point. Just know that Kage wouldn't stand a chance. Hardly anyone would.

Dude, he fought a log and thought it was Ryu. That is the antithesis of an honorable defeat. It's the most humiliating thing I can possibly imagine.

I mean, Kage is cool. He was the only guy that beat Akira out of all the characters on the entire roster that didn't story-wise. Hayabusa however, slain an ancient fiend and slain many people. The guy is no joke. Yaiba was on par with Ryu on a temporary moment. Not defending Ryu but Ryu was most likely worn out a bit killing the side ninjas before fighting Yaiba. Who knows what will happen though.

ever since NG3 Ryu has become ridiculously hard to beat. that speed/teleport boost he got is insane. he went from being able to dash quick to appearing behind you from like 20 yards away.

That was in doa 3 its the 5th installment so that doesnt count ha ! . He is smater, faster, and sharper

And at the end of their fight, Ryu is not fatigued, panting or sweating. In fact, he's standing int eh same pose he began in. It's like He beat him without even moving an inch.

i went back and saw that scene in japanese Hayate specifically says "Kawarimi no justu" which translates literally to "body replacement technique" if it was a clone he was fighting he would have said "bunshin" in there somewhere. no Hayate fought him for real but before Hayate delivered the last hit Ryu escaped.
