Considering that Madara knew Obito im sure he knows some stuff on Kakashi and Gai. I dont think Gai will be a threat to Madara in his current state.
This "red beast" may be something temporarily to work on Madara but after awhile it will strain him and Madara will go in for the kill. Either way this not good for Gai at all.

You should Radiance, i grew up watching the anime but i stopped because there's way too many fillers in the anime.
