Trust me, there are more people like that who exist than you know. It's just that in my case, I don't believe my help will be "good enough" because I'm not a top/high level player. And you know how shallow some so-called "aspiring" players can be. They will listen only to top players and nobody else these days.

Because of this people is the community are so splitted, i am not wondering when this game is soon dead.

QueenJakheiho - This is why I'm saying this. People don't realize negative attitudes actually put people off the game thus giving it a bad reputation.

Awesmic - I'm not that good at the game either, but I know when my input is needed. If I come across someone who isn't as good I'll try start a conversation with the person to see where they're at then offer my services if need be. I suppose just being friendly is enough, you know? if they don't want the help that's fine but you never know.

I love helping people with their game, and not just in DOA. Just a few weeks after I started playing, I came across some people who wanted to get better, so I did what I could with the skill I had at the time. Teaching on the subject of holding, mostly. (Not like I was great at holding, but just that the mid kick/punch are different and what specific attacks require which types of holds)

Funny enough i agree mostly, there are people who currently want to start an offline scene so i'm teaching them intermediate rachel play and what little i know about lei-fang, game mechanics and ect, an offline scene is actually really amazing for this game because this game really sucks under any degree of lag

Much does every fighter. It's just the way the cookie crumbles when it comes to fighters online. Actually, any online game for that matter.... unless you live in Japan where the internet is flawless =\

but i disagree because i've run into so much of the online warrior(f2p'ers) it literally saddens me to no end. I've finally gotten my internet back for around a week and it's just rows of people arguing and bitching about spam. So at that point, i don't really think it's bad to ridicule the typical online scrub who refuses to get better.

I play the F2P version, and I don't fit the description of an online warrior. That's bad stereotyping.

Just because you bought the f2p version doesn't mean you're a f2p'er

Well, there's good and bad everything. Bad-bad players are one thing, but a bad good players just makes the community look bad. If that makes sense? like somebody who runs around belittling people because they win. Even if I came across someone mashing, I wouldn't message them saying they're terrible =S that's just mean.

To be honest, I actually enjoy helping/teaching people about this game almost as much as I enjoy playing it.

I just like being helpful...
