Yes she is lol. Sarah is beyond op lol but Christie? Lol no. Ayane is a spacer, mix up heavy, throw-like-grappler, crushes, stances, 2 CBs. Yea.... she can do everything. She has BT throws and even BT low throws. Lol, why does she have wat a grappler should have? She has a hold (s) that launch high for combo damage...... She has this but Lisa, Tina, Mila ect do not.

Christie cant throw like a grappler, her throws and holds are shit (except for low p hold). Christie dosent have any BT throws. Ayane oretty much has everything except fora parry. That said, OP!!!

Oh, and I forgot Helena, but Ayane does not throw like a grappler, she needs to mix-up a lot in order to create any sense of pressure, and she only has 2 holds that launch (one of which requires a roof). Having stances is not necessarily a strength. Ayane is a well-rounded character that requires a lot of spacial and movement management, along with dexterity to handle properly.

Christie dominates on every front except holds and throws, and Helena is just ugh, Helena. S'funny that you find more Helenas and Christies dominating major tournaments as opposed to Ayanes. If Ayane is so OP, she should be winning almost every tournament.

It's because of the dedication required. If she was easier to use she would be at tournaments. The character is worse than Helena imo because at least you have many chances to counterblow Helena in CQC however hard it may be. Once an Ayane get's the life lead have fun regaining it against a proper Ayane player like Hajin.

Especially when your character has NO tools for approach. She gives alot of characters hell when used correctly; she is definitely up there with Helena/Christie.

Ayane isnt in tournaments because she is tough to use, I will give her that. But she dominates every font including holds and throws unlike Christie. Christie is in tournaments because she is much easier to use. As you can see in tournaments all the Christie players do is 6pp or ppppp (exckuding Emann). Doing ppp with Ayane will be worse than ppp for Christie. So I will give her that to

So #buffein to fight Ayane? Though compared to some other characters though, Ayane deserves to be higher tier because of the dedication you mentioned. She's not exactly "pick-up and play". Ayane's role in DOA is to be a pain in the ass when utilized well (which isn't really all that often).
