Sometimes basic is effective. Hell, if it weren't, every Hitomi player I know would be cinch. It can be annoying, but it's not really a valid reason to kick them or whatever.
There are two valid reasons to kick someone:
1) They lag really bad or keep spiking
2) They act like a jackass

its not horrible to be basic, but when its your main chatacter and all you do its pretty sad lol.

Like I said, some characters thrive off of it. In a sense, a character can be best played basic. Trying to "unique" and "unpredictable can work, sure, but it can also get you screwed. Some characters really are at their most effective utilizing a "basic" approach. Call it "sad" if you like, but ultimately, what works works. It's a shame the character is built that way, but tough shit.

I'm agreeing with brute. not everyone is doing stupid flashy shit you always try to do and fail. if someone doesn't play how you want them to (meaning they lose to you) you automatically don't like them. you only don't like my lisa because she always beats you. that's it

Well, yeah. That's certainly not the case all the time. There's a way to play basic and bad with every character, haha.

My definition of basic doa wise is doing something i've seen other people do with that same character. like something overused. but i guess its how the char is supposed to be played once it comes down to it. doesnt mean it int annoyin doe.

The only reason i usually lose to tonamii is becaus ehe literally relies on grabs, like he literally turtles and then runes and grabs. Not to mention it usually lags pretty bad., but it lags with you to so. Tina isnt meant for rush and i havent found the right things to beat turtles with. Not to mention i only counter like i do because the people i normally play with dont just grab lol, they delay strings.

Also back your own stuff up instead of "agreeing with brute". this is me and you boo. And my tina will always be extraordinary, and you can ask others because i have a good tina. I actually put forth effort in learning new stuff. lol.
