Its crazy cuz im seeing wrong stuff in here. Alpha is as fast as sarah and sarah doesnt have strings. Even though alphas strings are mids people still have to respect them meaning you can free cancel and mash random shit all day. As sarah even when im in a stance I can get crushed out of it and have to be smart about what I do when. Her parry got nerfed and isn't as viable as it used to be.
Also alphas 7k is a crushing flip kick thats SAFE. it used to be so safe you could recover and mash luckily they fixed that. Point is alpha has fast strings you can mash. Sarah does not. Speed wise their the same. They both have a 9 frame punch and 11 mid.
Yeah well I'd take a high-crushing 11 frame mid over a 9 frame jab any day. Sarah still has the speed advantage since her 11 frame mid is not beaten by alpha's jab (meaning no attack alpha has can beat that mid).
My comment was mainly a joke, as I would never consider Ayane's BT 7K a comparable tool to Sarah's 6P, I was just making a mention that she had it.
That said, gimmicks can go a long way in this game when used right.
Wait Brute, I thought Alpha's jab, 6p, 2p were all the same frames as Kasumi's? And wats with her 7k? I heard it got nerfed but now we are saying its safe again. Its like -2 or something?
Alpha's 7k is 12 frames. jab is 9. 6P is actually 13 iirc.
Requiem: Ryu's ongyoin parry should never work on match-start because you see him enter that stance, you approach accordingly. But, he can mask the animation transition with the distracting "FIGHT" logo and get away with it. Ayane could egg a front stance only to pull some similar shit against someone like Leifang,
