the point is not about how good you are, it is gaining experience and playing with others to get better. You have the tourney, but there will also most likely be casuals on the side.
You should go. But if anyone accuses you of supporting the community poorly for underperforming in an offline tourney, calls you a fraud, or laughs at you, let us know.
If everyone avoided going to tournaments because they thought that they're "not good enough", we'd only get like 2 people showing up every time. You don't go to tournaments to win. You go to tournaments to gain experience and to support your scene. Staying home and playing online only doesn't support the scene.
I'd be a lot shittier at this game if I didn't go to tournaments.
I don't wanna go there and just get beat tf up like I don't even know wtf im doing.. then everbody will be like a did you see that hitomi dude get his ass whoop lmao fastest 3 rounds I ever seen. NO im not about that life
LOL, no one fucking cares if someone gets bodied. I will let you know that the people that show up and get bodied get more respect than the U or Star Ranks that just spend all day playing laggy illegitimate matches on DOA Online thinking that they're badass or hot shit.
Have you seen Lordxavier's Hitomi? He has improved immensely from playing offline. From what I've seen of you, you're not half-bad your self. Leave the excuses at the door, and Level Up your game by attending a tourney!
No one becomes badass overnight. Definitely not me...
