No. I never said that. You guys always think Christie is easy because of ppppp or 6pppp. She takes more than that. I even said Ayane may take more skill but she is not that hard. Her difficulty is overrated. Using Christie correct is not mashing. Knowing when to jak or controlling space takes time. Ayane takes more no doubt but not THAT much.
Only hard thing about Ayane is what? Maybe controlling space? Her combos are not that hard, her mixups are hella easy, getting damage with her is also very easy since I can just spam 64t and get all that free damage. Yes, I do use Ayane, only online, and I get away with a lot just like Christie. All I do is pp6k2k, 3kkk into CB, and that rolling shit. It works wonders.
I'm speaking for character usage and less tools. Playing Brad, Eliot or Pai is much more of a challenge than the ordinary Helena & Christie. Helena & Christie is far too overused.
Ah ok. I thought you were saying that their difficulty is overrated (which they both actually are lol). I wouldnt say Pai is one of the characters with lesser tools. Why do you think Pai?
You are playing risky with Pai a couple times. You are forced to play the stun game most of the time to compensate for the lack of damage. Perhaps tools is a far out-stretched word but it does feel rewarding when you win with her, Akira, Ein & Eliot.
If you're judging Ayane's complexity on how she is online, you're doing it wrong. The vast majority of Ayane players get blown up offline trying to play her in what they think is the "right way". Ayane's complexity comes from managing every move she uses at the right time. Spamming 64T won't win you matches against people that know how to fight Ayane offline.
Christie's difficulty just seems to revolve around JAK. Using Ein or Eliot seems like a different case because, it seems to be the issue of trying to win with "fewer" tools than everyone else.
I said i use her online only lol. And Christies difficulty does not revolve around the jak 100%. I promise you. I only do the stuff i said with Ayane online because I get away with it lol. I don't use her offline. Same with Christie. You think ppppp offline with Christie helps? lolno. I have played matches and not used the jak once. I, personally, only use the jak in combos of use jak p as a great CH "gtfo me" move.
or*
Of course its easier winning with Christie than Ein, Eliot, etc because she has more and better tools. But you guys just make it seem like Christie is good in every situation whatsoever and is also easy for every situation when she most definitely is not.
In every in-game situation Ayane and Genfu have everything they need. Im not saying Christie is a shit character or has trouble everywhere like Ein, I'm just saying you guys are overrating the most of her abilities. And you guys act like pressing P is the correct way to use her.
Much like Ayane, Christie has to cancel a string here and there to avoid unsafenesss/punishment and/or do more mixups. Against holds, Christie can try to throw but her throws are wack (save 4t) and do nothing. Ayane has awesome throws that do either big damage or guarantee something. Also Ayane has the better juggle damage. She even have holds that give her opportunity to do damage.
I don't use PPPPP that much with Christie, I'm talking about 6PP, 'nuff said. Again, if you're in anyway basing Ayane's complexity on online play, you're doing it wrong. Ayane is fucking retarded online (though so is Christie), and the shit you get away with is online bullshit.
I had a match with Brute and 6K2K'ed him to hell. Would that work offline? Hell no. I never, ever base my opinion of a character from online play. It's just not legitimate. There's a reason most offline Ayanes get bodied. She's not straightforward in the least. Christie is way easier to win with offline.
And Christie does not except her low punch hold but who uses low punch a lot? Even though Christie is "easier", Ayane can use her "harder things" to get damage. Ayane has the better chance and gets damage better than Christie. Therefore, Christie does take more than people think she does.
lol. Have you ever seen Christie ppppp straight through a tourney like she does online? lol no. Dont get me wrong, her 6pp is good though. And it can go into jak, so her 6pp is good. Im not saying Christie is harder to use than Ayane, because she is not. Its just that people are saying her online play works offline which it does not. Same with Ayane's online play. Im just saying Christie isnt asshat easy like Rachel.
Ayane is quite hard to learn. She's so complicated it takes forever to know her in and out.
