Well for me there was a little struggle. A MR with decent knowledge and combos could beat me. I ain't know shit about her moves and till this day I still don't lol. xD

lol most cases but even so unfamiliarity can be frustrating sometimes not to mention those who actually wanna main Phase 4 or Tengu will have to deal with alot of Mirrors which can be kinda sickening like how M.R was Played out after like 3 days XD

Phase 4 and Tengu have movesets derivative off of past fighters. Not identical, sure, but they should be a little more intuitive to adapt to if you've played past games in the franchise, as their approach and methods should be somewhat familiar. Marie Rose was her own dealio with a completely new moveset.

Very true. I feel that it's they are causing SO MUCH HYPE that everybody and their father's aunt will use them once they release and for a long time. I'll probably still won't know a thing about their moves(well maybe a little since Phase shares moves with Kasumi) since I never played with Tengu or Kasumi Alpha.

The hype train will be huge for a while on both of them. If they turn out high tier, the hype will stay up. If they turn out pretty mid-to-low tier, everyone will abandon ship.

@hollow True, but with those two it while be forever until they become a little irrevelant.. And as Brute says no one gets hype over costumes anymore unless they decide to make another set like the Halloween pack...

It's never smart to say you WILL use a character "regardless" of anything until you actually play them for yourself.

i WILL main a Phase-4 regardless of anything and everything haha
