You seem to be the only one with a problem with my words. Not even my gay friends, who DON'T parade their sexuality around like some folks, seem to have a problem.

Everyone has a different diction. What matters is how the terms are used. You cant assume someone to be something based entirely on words.

Faggot is a derogatory word in regards to gays so that in it self negates all of what your saying. It's like saying something you don't like is GAY

Just becausr he uses the word does not mean that he is homophobic. It may mean that he doesnt like the dude hes talking to but has nothing to do with gays in general.

I am someone who believes in the ability to say whatever word you wish - words that are separate from the speaker's actual intentions.

Words were made to be used, so I agree with you there, but it's the way you use those words that counts ! Gay people are everywhere in and out of the closet and I know a couple of other gay people on here !

If you are offended, even if the term wasnt meant for you, that is your issue and not the speaker's. The best optiom you have is not to respond/react to the word faggot. Don't make it directed at you if it doesnt have to be.

Society is far too sensitive, nowadays. People ought to learn to ignore.

"Faggot" is a known derogatory term in the vain of politically incorrect racial slurs that most people have clipped from their vocabulary to never use in public outside of very select social groups. To assume that someone shouldn't be offended by a word that's meant to degrade a particular class of people just because it wasn't stated directly to them is ignorant.
