To cap this off, I deleted your post. I found it to be deliberately inflammatory. Your intent may not have been to come across as homophobic or even offensive to anyone, but the simple fact of the matter is that something like that could ONLY be offensive to large portions of the community.

I don't know anything about some stream or other instances going on but, while it is definitely your status, unlike Facebook or something else EVERYONE that visits this site has to see your posts. You WILL be cognizant of that fact going forward and behave accordingly.

I don't much care for apologies. People around here are mostly adults and can handle moving on. Posting things like this and the psuedo-apology thread are bound to invite stupidity. BlankOctober, I happen to find the content you contribute to be helpful and of quality. But you need to be aware that people are touchy and the few staff members we have have low tolerance for stupidity and the things that cause it.
