She's garbage. There! But, as we've seen in many occasions in many fighting games, good players bring out the best in any given character.

Probably just wait for a mediocre player to show up at a tourney and get blown up. Then everyone will say it proves nothing blah blah blah then after some time passes and a top player says she's trash then suddenly everyone will agree with it.

How is she even worse offline when we haven't even seen her offline. My biggest complaint about her is that people still think those stupid on hit confirm teleports are what makes her hard to play. She's unsafe but that is the natural draw back for it. She's been out on the arcades longer than the week we have and people are already asking for buffs?

She's unsafe as fuck, ain't gonna lie about that. However the exaggeration is ridiculous though.

Al I gotta say is. The entire play game as of right now of people using her have been strictly online. Your fuck up are the game fuck ups. Have people even tried to play differently with her instead of immediately hitting a button right after you block? Phase 4 seems like a character you can commit to grab more and bait them into think you are going to hit a button for grabs, frame traps etc.

I do agree with the whole online kerfuffle in general. I do still think that she would be even easier to shutdown offline.

If you mean that people are able to react faster to punish her without anything holding them back then yeah you are right. I do believe that is how she is suppose to be. The hardest thing about her is opening people up but because of that..I feel there is some commitment in there somewhere without rushing in or your every day "Block and then strike" common style.

I understand what TN was getting at in regards to having to put in effort to open up the opponent. I guess I feel that, the strings that she has are far too limiting because of those autos. I guess its not safety that I want from her (considering my main) it is better tools/mixup.

I just feel as though she is an extreme risk, mediocre reward sort of character, who in my humble opinion isn't worth it.

I hope I am proven wrong, eventually. Id love for her to be viable.

The general consensus is that she's terrible on paper from her pure data. She has speed but lacks any real good mixup or mode of entry to get in. Her strings mostly all blow and against an opponent (offline) with good reactions, just about anything she does can be blocked and throw punished, even certain free cancels can be snuffed out.

This forces her to play a risky tick throw and conditioning game in order to get her openings (a game that other more effective fast characters could also play if they NEEDED to) and eventually high damage which you will be working for execution wise.

Point being, DOA is a flexible game and anyone can use a character a certain way and be effective. However, on paper, she's one of the worst characters in the game. That's not really up for debate.

If there's one thing I learned, it's that you'd have to be a glue-sniffing moron to trust the general consensus in this community.

The general consensus is usually trash. Frame data and movelists on the other hand, do not lie. And what we see and know suggests on paper that P4 is an awful character. That is something that's not quite as easy to rebuff. What do I know anyway though, I go by her FD/Movelists and what smart (SMART) players are saying. I don't even have her for myself.

Brute, I am not saying that she is terrible because I want to act cool and fit in with the crowd. I played her everyday since her release and the opinion is mine - which is also one that is shared with many others.

Your antagonism is unnecessary and counterproductive. Skepticism is good but this is a bit much.
