You don't encounter the doppelgangers(fiend ryus) on hard, im like 90% sure

btw remember to use them smokebombs and kick ass! you should record your playthrough!

They do appear on Hard Mode. You're thinking Nicchae and Ishtaros, who only appear in Very Hard and Master Ninja in place of the final Hydracubus and Yotunfrau battles.

for enemies who block your launcher ->Y with DS you can relaunch them by doing another onlanding ->Y if you hold block and charge 2 UTS

btw I can't stress enough how useful smoke bombs are!

Lol damn you guys are missing out, when you throw a smoke bomb enemies wont attack until the smoke clears, it even works on bosses

Example: you kill an enemy, drop a smoke bomb, charge lv 1 UT with yellow essence and the smoke bomb will give you time to charge a lv 2 UT

Smoke bombs also nulls an enemies guard, basically they wont guard against any of your attacks or try to dodge them

N it makes those cat fiends really easy, drop a smoke bomb and they wont flying swallow you

Interesting. I tried using them in that one Mission Challenge but they didn't seem to do anything. Next time I whip up the game (which probably won't be for a long time), I'll give it a shot.

The Bast Fiends can be tackled without items fairly easily. Just have to be cautious when they're lumped in with bosses.
