Spacing is the worst part. Once he's in she's very annoying with sidestepping and high crushing and Shade did plenty of both. And that's the easier part of the matchup, if she spaces him out it's even more of a headache, going into nightmare territory.
Well, Ayane specializes in zoning out the VF's, but the VF's can do well against her if you can stay close to her and continually pressure. Her good crush moves generally tend to be fairly unsafe. As for being spaced out, that's where patience comes in!
Ayane is retardedly susceptible to Akira's parry. Get me in a room with a good Ayane and I'll show you the tricks I use. Some items right off the bat: 1. Swing in with 4P. You can cancel into something else, or follow the swing with P and you're only at -3.
2. 6P4 44. This gets that lunge that should get them to try and punish you, which makes them over commit and allow you to open them up.
3. If she goes back turned on you when you're not stunned, parry. She is going high jab or low jab.
High Jab or Low jab admittedly may be the more used options purely because they snuff step and start an offense. I say that purely because Akira loves (Read: LOVES) to sidestep. So conditioning would be easy in that regard. It's not a blanket tool for her BT but Akira doesn't have any all purpose tools unless of course, you're blocking.
