Empiric stats would be very useful if collected right. Our problem is that we're simply using anecdotal experience and calling it a day.

There was some beautiful stuff in those games. I must admit that the majority of my nostalgia comes from DOA2, simply because it was the first DOA game I played, and prior to 5, 2U was the game I played the most overall.

But I still love 3 and have a lot of fond memories with it. Good ol' days

If you carefully reread what I am saying, and think LOGICALLY, you can probably figure out what I am trying to get across.

Stereotyping is wrong. That's the point I'm trying to get across.

That being said, I use the word "typically" for a reason.

There's a difference between stereotypes and generalizations. Generalizations clarify that they are identifying a larger trend but are susceptible to not being 100% true in every case, and they identify trends as accurately as possible given the available means of measurements. Stereotypes OVERSIMPLIFY an issue by disregarding the conditions stated above.
