Oh dear, why it's always about the coolness? It's actually funny when thy choose her nurse costume then, almost neutralizing the teleports coolness factor with such a weird looking dress.

I also imagine Hayabusa having rosa petals around while doing his izunas and teleports. The amount of players would be surely smaller then^^

Kasumi and her teleports are much better imo. Pink is one of my favorite colors and I love her "I won't fight you if you leave me alone but I can and will murder you if you get in my way" personality.

Indeed. IMO they should make her personality even more badass. She seems too wimpy at times.

Something beauty and kind hidden under a cloak of darkness and nastiness (yucky smoke, like you say as well as her hooded cloaks), not able to change this state on it's own is how Phase-4 can be described and is what makes her even more interesting as Kasumi for me.

@Force_of_Nature , do you mean P4's personality? I like it the way it is, better let fighters like Sarah or Rachel take the role of being a more badass character =P

Naaaaaah because then they would be only half like a human and there won't be any thrilling, tragic, fascinating or romantic stories writable about them.

Thrilling tragic stories are what shape characters into badasses (Helena, Jann Lee, Bayman, Ayane, Christie MUST have a screwed up past, others I'm forgetting).

I think we'll see a much more confident and determined Kasumi in DOA6 based on the end of 5.

Your english is fine. It's just that I don't find their personalities equal at all. :l

So where's the difference? Like Kasumi, Phase 4 also does not want to fight people, and she has even softer intro quotes. The only thing she's not doing is excusing directly after beating her opponent.

The most obvious difference between both of them is that Kasumi is free to express positive feelings, while P4 can't due to the current position and purpose.

Phase 4 seems like much more of a badass to me. In her intro she just teleports to the fight and doesn't say anything. Also her "I don't want to fight you, but I will" is amazing. It's a dick thing to say.

Kasumi runs away from her problems and seems very pessimistic to me. I really don't like that.

P4's more melancholic.

The difference is Phase is sad about her own existence. She was made purely to kill and do nothing else and it weighs upon her heavily.

I think her "I'm sorry.. I must go on.." quote is supposed to be her clone in the story mode. "I know what I must do" "You will never defeat me" and "this is mugen tenshin" are the true Kasumi.

Also her "I can't avoid this fight" is supposed to be the clone in the story as well while "I am ready" is the real Kasumi.

Kasumi isn't forced to do anything. She acts on her own emotions and that's probably why she isn't so sad (and when she does feel sad I don't blame her with everything she goes through).
