There are a lot of blacks and Latinos who play this game. Matter of fact it seems that way to me in terms of my friend list and experience in SF rank. The good players, are black and Latino, and the good white players are Canadian.

Sorry you had to go through that man. As a black person, it shames me to hear stuff like that. But yeah, there are alot of Black and Latino people who play fighting games as a whole and it's been like that for many years.

@Malfury Where i'm from in my country is the equivalent to the bronx in new york. So i'm used to it(not sure if it's a good thing or not). Also, i've noticed that's not really true because most black people I know love 3d fighters over everything.
