lol girl the chances of you finding one who doesn't mash is rare.. just mid kick counter a lot and sidestep occasionally.

Rig actually caters to mash since he's hella-safe, fast and has good mix-ups. So even in high level play he'll still be more mashy than other characters will.

@Brute I get that, but I also know enough of his frame data to tell when he's just mashing after finishing a string that leaves him at negative, especially when it's throw punishable. I want to play a Rig player who respects frame data, even if it is online.

Look at his recovery frames from some of the moves. Certain setups kinda has a quicker timing to grab him for punish. He has moves that's like -12 but he recovers hella quick from a 28 recovery drawback. It's like..he's not safe...but he's slightly safe...it's weird to explain.

Sort of like Akira's 6KP being -6?

DestructionBomb
Yeah, except Akira's 6KP can be interrupted since the P is a high. One of rig's setups (Can't quite remember the moves..but it's not a stance transition type moves.) It ends with 2 mid kicks has like this super quick recovery to it. Rig gets away with it a lot..but I noticed that the case isn't really a online thing like focusing on other characters.
DestructionBomb

But characters like Rig specifically have a small reason to it because he recovers quick from it. So if you get blown up from it trying to grab him..could be online..maybe..but he recovers quick from it too so it can go both ways without people knowing.
