That's kinda... out of the blue, haha. Though, it is true that I'm not a fan.

To be concise, I do like the visual style. The airy-and-stiff anime look doesn't go over well with me personally, and the fight-sequences tend to be very "effect-y."

It's hard to describe what I mean by that, but generally you get a pause scene where someone swoops up some large magical thing and then it cut-frames to the actual execution, only to be dodged or something. It's a similar problem I have with many anime, Street Fighter, and Final Fantasy-styled fight sequences.

Furthermore, while certainly a very talented animator, he seems to excel mostly in fights. The "casual" animation is serviceable at best, and that consumes and oddly high amount of time.

For some reason RWBY seems to think it has a plot or characters that I would be interested in seeing. The dialogue is horrible and the voice-acting is cringe-worthy. Add to that that the main cast is comprised on the "care about them because they're (allegedly) girls" trope and you're essentially left with a series that does not appeal to me on any level whatsoever.

edit: corrections:
"To be concise, I do NOT like the visual style."
"care about them because they're (allegedly) cute girls"

I like action sequences that feel like actual fights. The ones in RWBY don't to me. And when every non-action aspect of the series isn't working, when the action doesn't, there just really isn't an appeal to me personally.

Hm, I can see all of that actually. Though I have to disagree on the "cute girls" thing. I don't really feel that's their attempt to make you care about those characters. As well as fanservice heavy anime goes, RWBY is rather tame by design with it's females leads.

The designs themselves are cool imo. The characters themselves do have a bit of difficulty making you care however. Even the cliche'd Weiss and Blake.

As far as the action itself, it's not Dead Fantasy level but it's decent. However, there's not nearly enough of it.

Well, it's not necessarily "fanservice" in the traditional sense as much as it is the implicit sense. For example, if I draw a "cute" girl who is very conservatively clothed standing around being boring, I'll get 10 times the interest that I would from drawing a male character exceptionally well who is doing something incredibly interesting.

Society sees females as an inherent victory or accomplishment, and they are naturally biased to admire them due to an inherent infatuation (this stems across both genders). It's really hard to explain and incredibly complex, but essentially, RWBY wouldn't be 1/4 as popular as it is now if the main characters were all males.

That much.... I can agree with. Particularly that last statement.

Yeah, so that one thing doesn't kill it for me, isn't jsut an amalgam of elements, and none of them particularly appeal to me. I'm not saying "How dare he make this abhorrent thing!" but personally, it does not appeal to me at all. If he's passionate about it, go for it. But admittedly, I would be excited if he took his talents to more promising projects.
