I enjoyed what I played of the beta so you and I differ on our feelings about it. I also don't care about the crucible at all so I'll basically just play through the campaign and sell the game back. Still playing Diablo and Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate anyway.
Modifiers outside of that, as well. Don't know how it works with current Diablo as its been patched a billion times, but by the time I got to inferno you'd have the little insects from Act 2 shooting needles at you, then tractoring you straight into them and killing you instantly if you approached too fast. Not a thing that happens on lesser difficulties.
No more Inferno but that was there in the last console version. Now it's Torment 1-6. And the enemies do get more abilities on higher difficulties still. I solo Torment 2 just fine and could probably do 4.
Destiny has yet to disappoint me. I've enjoyed the game in all aspects. There's so much to do other than play story mode. There are a few tweaks I'd like to multiplayer mode but I'll get over it. Maybe it's because I love Halo and the gameplay has a huge resemblance that I enjoy it. I definitely see myself attached to this until Halo 5 though.
See, I hate the concept of having "things to do". That makes it sound like a job. Which it is, basically. If a game was actually fun you would never refer to activities in the game as "things to do". Because that's justification talk -- you'd simply be doing them.
