Haha I wanted it so bad. But I let it pass. If my fam gets a wii u, I might get NG3RE though. It's gunna have the dual katana's setup, hopefully the swords have properties that effect their element I suppose, like Dragon Sword = Light, Jinran-Maru = Wind, and Blade of the Archfiend = Dark.

I'm pretty sure the dual katanas in RE are just copied from the Sigma/NG 2 Dragon's Claw and Tiger's Fang. If so, they're just your run-of-the-mill katanas with weights attached my chain on the hilt.
Very fun, though. Anyway, if you don't have NG1, pick that up, too. It will be the best purchase you've ever made.

I have NGΣ1. I like ninja gaiden 2's combos better.
Actually the ones in the trailer for RE aren't run of the mill. It's the Blade of the Archfiend matched with Jinran-maru. You can see the sheath of both of them if you look at the trailer again. You don't have to pause it at the last fight to see the BoTA Sheath, but you do have to for Jinran-Maru,
