@Katanateen33, yeah. I was about to drop it, but then who will use Eliot? Lmao. @samuraihachi, Christie online. Lol let's not. That character alone has 5P'd me out of so many punishes.
I've been a legit Christie player for years, and now I get called a masher with no skill by the very person who gave me a compliment days ago. What treachery is this?
@Katanateen33, Yup. It's annoying when you try playing legit, only to be P'd out of every punish you go for. @Awesmic, you think this aimed at you? o_o Sorry if you did but we just meant the ones that mash out of negative. Not entirely sure you fit that category. Plus I've never fought you nor complimented you, lol.
At the same time, I'm not gonna lie and say I was never guilty of attacking from disadvantage. I'm human. I make mistakes and own up to them. But come on now, no one is perfect, even when you make some players out to be.
However when it comes to this game in general, it was intended to be accessible to all skill levels. By comparison to DOA4, we're better off than you think.
I suppose I can agree with this. I've only just started playing this game in April, and I'm already #4 in the Mila leaderboards.
There are characters I find annoying to fight, only because I'm not too use to fighting them (Nyotengu, Eliot, Rig, Zack, etc.) so I won't know how to deal with them, or maybe those who are too fast for me to keep up with (Christie, Alpha, Helena).
@Ichiron47, totally agree. Character unfamiliarity is something I deal with because certain characters are so rare. You really just have to fight those people that do use the character and are good with them to get it. Ah man, I've been #1 Eliot on the leaderboard for the longest. It's good for recognition, but I really only want it just to say I have it.
@Force_of_Nature, I agree with that, as well. I play offline with my sister whenever she's not busy. And I'm going to start going to tournaments soon. I know offline is a whole hell of a lot better, but I, for some reason, play online anyway.
@ColonelColver: Very true. I mean how often would you ever see a Bayman player online? And I suppose I'm the same way. I want to be #1 on the leaderboards, but I got to get even better with Mila, because there are going to be people who would want to fight me, and brag about me and such.
(cont) Honestly I rather people not have high hopes from me, because I have my moments where I would lose a lot, and then get labeled as a suckish player who doesn't deserve to be Ruby, or that there are certain Mila players who are better. Sometimes I feel like I'm the most hated Mila player, because of the way I fight with her. lol!
@Awesmic, you know very well that I'm not talking about you. :P I may not be that big on Christie, but you certainly are no button masher and you've proven yourself tons of times already. The Christies I'm talking about are the ones who abuse lag tactics and mash PPPPPP all over the place. Usually these type of players are trash talkers as well.
@Ichiron47, that's true, almost nobody uses him. But for the select few that do, you'll find yourself struggling. All I can tell you is to seek the few people out. Oh yeah, I got that a lot. "Oh you're a fake ruby, your Eliot sucks", shit like that. When you realize it's from scrubs and ragers, you learn to laugh.
