Eh not really they do have interesting circumstances and their fighting styles are very interesting, Ayane constant spins and Kasumi's use of teleportation is different from most where as others use it to get behind she uses it for maintaining momentum.

@David Gregg I think that if they were replaced with other female ninjas it wouldn't really make much of a difference.. Ayane is a ninja that has a attitude problem and kasumi is someone on the run..idk i feel like i've seen it before so they don't really resonate with me
