@Rikuto I know there will always be some latency when dealing with online play, but if Share Plays latency is lower than LR's native netcode, maybe it could be a viable option.
@Fiend Busa Latency, or lag, is due to a variety of reasons, not just location.because I've played people locally online with no lag in games like SCV and its near perfect and will have lag against the same person in DOA. Now its kind of apples and oranges because SCV is because I believe SCV is a server-based netcode and DOA is peer-to-peer. Regardless, Share Play may be better if there is less lag.
Edit: And even if the timer is for those who both have the game. Form a party with friends and take turns playing different people in the party. Just throwing out ideas. Can't really say for sure until we get our hands on it.
The primary problem I see with this.... wouldn't it simply result in one person having a "perfect" connection and the other with a less-than-perfect connection?
