@Rikuto I know there will always be some latency when dealing with online play, but if Share Plays latency is lower than LR's native netcode, maybe it could be a viable option.

that's a brillant idea

Latency has to do with location not "netcode"...I believe

Depends on users download/upload speed and ping

Watching the video it seems like there is a hour limit for shareplay? Might have a cool down till you can shareplay with the same user again, idk

@Fiend Busa Latency, or lag, is due to a variety of reasons, not just location.because I've played people locally online with no lag in games like SCV and its near perfect and will have lag against the same person in DOA. Now its kind of apples and oranges because SCV is because I believe SCV is a server-based netcode and DOA is peer-to-peer. Regardless, Share Play may be better if there is less lag.

Also, from my understanding, the 60 minute timer is if the other person doesn't have the game, and its being streamed to them.

I'm definitely gunna try this out when I get my PS4 copy of DOA5LR.

Edit: And even if the timer is for those who both have the game. Form a party with friends and take turns playing different people in the party. Just throwing out ideas. Can't really say for sure until we get our hands on it.

The primary problem I see with this.... wouldn't it simply result in one person having a "perfect" connection and the other with a less-than-perfect connection?
