    Yea it was definitely bad for brad and the girls, but Hayate's hair looked bad ass... now it looks... normal...

    I wonder what's going to happen to DOA5 now after the patch. I hope they don't take this deal away from Helena. :/

    His dicklord speed really kills the advantage of his guard breaks. His 3H+K/4PK etc. can still be quite useful, though. Ryu has decent range options, but honestly a smart player will just sit there and block. The only two things that can get around that are his ongyoin teleport and 2K, both of which are slow as nuts and can be dealt with on reaction.

    Outside ongyoin he can charge in with 33K, H+KKK or 3H+K. Decent options, but nothing great. But Helena's got that long-range low kick-poke to mid-punch combo which I could see being equally useful if not more so.

    Frankly you can't play DOA4 anyone in this game, because except the grapplers and Helena, them forced techs.

    Really? They've always been my #1 headache in DOA5 since day 1. Likely because I play Ryu, but that high pressure game that doesn't even relent upon hitting the ground is more deadly than any other playstyle, imo.

    Haha just catch up on yesterday's tag tourney. Heh, Rikuto's Revenge did some hilarious but professional shit.

    I've improved a bit, but even after that, I still feel that Hayate is underpowered in this game. Hope changes to the core come soon.

    So to even get those juggles is majorly hard work. Especially online... Offline I got a few setups the other day but most of my damage came from whiff baiting and punish unsafe moves... like... I had to put myself in there so that they could get something unsafe blocked.

    Now I'm no longer mad that he's underpowered. I'm just disappointed that my character changed from aggressive rush down, to wait and see what happens.

    Well I personally cannot give you any advice on Hayate because I dont play as him. You would just have to find an alternative when using him because he isnt bad, its just that he isnt what he used to be. And that goes for most of the characters. I dont know..

    Yea. I came from maining Ein in DOA2U to maining him in 4. I wasn't competitive in 3 though i never used him back then.
