I agree. It's tedious to watch the replay all over again if you want to watch something more carefully, especially if that particular thing is near the end of the replay.
The DOA Replay system already has a pause-play function by the way. You can pause the replay by pressing left on the D-Pad, and continue the replay by pressing right on the D-Pad.
