I don't think it's really about EVO overall. We know how they feel and we know how it is. It's more about exposure for our game and taking it to places it hasn't been to yet.

I agree with the exposure, but what if the exposure you get isn't a good and positive one? that's the bigger issue and it comes from the mindset they have. I like EVO as an event but the mentality towards us from there has never been good. I'd rather make our own EVO.

I don't care at all for the EVO staff's attitude towards us. I typically consider this kind of thing a waste of time, and it probably is.

But I'll see what Big E has planned.

I can see your point MASTER. DOA's own EVO (or the closest thing) would be TFC right now. Well, that's the biggest DOA Major right now, right? Followed by WinterBrawl, SummerJam, D.I.D, and maybe others...

Maybe having having some "SEGA Cup" anologue but for DOA would be nice. "Tecmo Koei Cup" sounds... weird. The name could need some work, lol.

Summer Jam has historically had a larger attendance. Not just for DOA but across the board.

DOA may not "need" EVO, but being at EVO wouldn't exactly harm the game. If anything it would get exposure that the game seriously needs. Not being at EVO consistently will give the haters even more "credibility" to trash DOA.

Where exactly are these haters coming from anyway? We don't get a lot of hate from the capcom side of things, and while the Tekken crowd certainly resents the game to a degree they pretty much have to bribe EVO every year to get on board.

I don't think anyone really has the high ground on us. We get along well with most of the VF scene and fabulously with the SC scene.

All that's left are random trolls from here or there.

3D needs to stick together because we're all in a leaky boat.
