When you talk about to get the hands on her, the subject is always the moveset.... right? XD
Jokes aside, her combo video is truly interesting! I really hope that Honoka will be a viable character in addition to be cool to see and funny to use. But so far the datas on paper seems to be promising =)
I think Honoka will be tournament viable at least. Her moveset and combos are proper sick and they seem like they do loads of damage. However, two-thirds of her moveset is unsafe on block so I doubt she'll be top tier.
@KING JAIMY With all the characters that you already know how to use, I'm sure that you will not get too much difficulties in mastering Honoka if you will decide to do it =)
In the end safety isn't all that important. Ask Kasumi hahaha. If she has solid enough mix-ups her safety won't matter too much... still not sure if she has plenty mixups though as I honestly don't know what half the moves in her command list pdf are =S
I think her moves are divided in 'regular moves' and then the moves in her stances. One thing I also noticed is that she has auto-transitions. So let's say she does 6H+K (from Jann Lee) she automatically goes in Dragon Stance, whereas Jann Lee also has the option of not going in the stance. Honoka is forced to transition, which may be a disadvantage for her.
@Kronin: Thanks. I will try out Honoka and if she ends up being a good character, perhaps she could be added as a 'sub character'. I'm trying to have a grasp of each character by training and examining their moves. It's a lot of fun :)
Thanks for the infos on the character, this seems pretty interesting.
EDIT: And yeah, I would love to get your knowledge of DoA5, I'm sure that you have much more fun than the average players of the game (in addition to be a better player, of course )
