The 46P ender is a little tricky. What I do is as soon as the punch BEFORE the 46P finishes, I flick my analog stick to the left and, in rapid succession, press '6' and 'P' simultaneously. You can also use the D-Pad, of course.
Also, it doesn't matter if there are any inputs in between the '4' and '6P' as long as '4 is the initial input and '6P' the last input. So for a basic PP46P you can also just do this: PP47896P or PP41236P (half circle motions from left to right) to make the timing easier.
Take it from me, that method isn't very reliable. The way I do it is similar to Akira's 1 frame slide, just with more lenient timing. Basically, for 46P start at 4 and slide to 6 without touching any other direction. I'm more successful that way.
Fair enough. I'm no Eliot expert, but that method worked for me when I started learning him a few months ago. It helped me get the timing into muscle memory at first, but now that I know the timing, I do it your way.
I was thinking maybe in just to slow but I'll try all three methods to see which one works for me ! Now his parries, I know 9k is guaranteed but is there a way to get more creative ? What else works as far as set ups ?
The parry is really good because you can go for multiple setups:
1. Parry > 9KK (Launcher, do this if you expect your opponent not to hold).
2. Parry > 9K - 236T (Throw Launcher, do this if you expect your opponent to counter with a hold, possibility to inflict massive damage).
3. Parry > 3K is also guaranteed I believe (not 100% sure). The follow-up punch of 3K gives a sit-down stun. From the SDS you get a guaranteed 3P (possibly more options, but I don't remember quite well).
Wait, King, sorry to be rude, but you're gravely misinforming Omega. The parries are indeed good, and 9K and 3K are guaranteed. So is 6P. Anything 14 frames and under should be guaranteed, but the parry causes some pushback, so certain things aren't. After the initial hit of 3K, 9K, or 6P, they can hold.
More importantly... 3KP with Eliot guarantees NOTHING. None of his SDS' do. They are all +15 on fastest stagger, so you need an i13 mid for anything to be guaranteed. His fastest mid is i3P, which is i13, but no matter how you input it, it is still slow escapable.
The reason nothing is guaranteed is that you would think that if he's +15, anything 15 frames or below is guaranteed. But strikes take two frames to land, and his fastest mids that you can input are 3P and 3K. Since they are 14 frames, and not 13, they are not guaranteed, and nothing else is.
