Thing is, you're not exactly going to level up playing the exact same people you keep beating a lot. At least if you play online, you gain chances to play other good players and can actually see what your weaknesses are.
You have an offline scene as much as I do. Difference is that you don't exactly have players there that really capitalize on your mistakes, or not enough. This is why I continue to offer playing you.
I know what you mean, but an issue I have with online is that I can't tell if I'm reacting to something properly due to latency and just get frustrated by the whole experience. Offline I can tell where my reactions are. Over the last year or so, every time I've hopped online, I just got infuriated by the experience and came close to breaking something.
Anger issues lol. Happens, but do not jump online expecting the offline experience. Frankly, if I actually lose to someone I'm much better than it's never because I am outplayed.
The only time I occasionally get outplayed is if I play another high level player. Either I outplay them or vice versa. Lag exists but is not the focus, which we know that. Play online to practice and try stuff, not to play in the offline sense.
