I call it a "Street Fighter 2 Throw".

Being a Lee player, this is one of the things that pisses me off the most lol, hate it when they call DG the "leg grab" lol.

If you're online that shit might as well be a grab. It's so good when you Izuna a DG against a random and call you a hacker.

It'll always be a throw to me. So there.

Hmmm... if you think that way then it's fine. However, keep in mind that an Offensive Hold doesn't work like a throw as in that an OH beats strikes and not throws.

ha ha, OK.

It's probably just ignorance. I just ignore it, haha.

@TheRealCoxinator: its pretty easy to counter it really even online, i mean its 23F on start up and 27F on recovery lol.

I'm pretty sure it's because you have to press the throw button to do them so they just lump it together. Not sure though.

"Offensive Hold" is actually a shitty counterintuitive name because in other DOA's they worked differently, and to be honest those attacks have more things in common with throws than holds lol. OH's used to beat strikes, throws and holds in previous games, while in DOA5 they made "regular" throws' startup and active frames invincible to OH's.

Wow, OH's beating all three options (strikes, throws and holds) is pretty fucking broken. I'm glad the way it is now.

@angelkait: Fair point. I guess this could be a good reason.
