It's true that the spoiler tags don't fix overall page load times (it will still be hard to load a phone, for example), but when users try to scroll through a new page with many images on it, the images will gradually load in as they scroll causing huge

darts back on the section of the page the user was trying to read, forcing them to wait until the whole page finishes.
With spoiler tags, it keeps the loading images off of the vertical page scroll, allowing an easier read for users who have not let the full page load yet.

Normally this is not an issue, but in those types of threads where everyone is posting images in each post (especially when the posted images are really large for quality), it can become a bit of an obstacle.
So personally, I'd appreciate posts in there be limited to 1-2 large non-spoiler images if possible. Makes it a much easier read for some, myself included.

As far as my main goes, I honestly have no idea anymore. I haven't really been playing much sicne the PC version has no online, the AI is monotonous, and all of my PS3 controllers are busted. Ryu is still the character I know the most tech for and am most comfortable with, but he's far from my "best" in terms of efficiency (which is very frustrating), and isn't really

the most fun to play as either (for various reasons). It's pretty sad.
When I do play, I've been doing lots of exploring. Ayane, Lei, Leon, Lisa, Marie, Nyo, Rig, Raidou; basically whoever I feel like. It's not like the AI bothers fighting back on any of the difficulty settings, anyway.

But the thumbanils anyway should be even more preferable to the spoiler tags right? They should allow an even more faster loading of the page without causing waitings (I hope that is so otherwise I need to edit for a third time all the posts of that thread! xD)

I think to know what you mean about the frustration, sometimes I'm able to be more efficient with Ein than Ayane and it's a shame because I know that there is an huge potential of the kunoichi that I can't use (but in this case the fault is completely mine).

Well, in the end the main important thing is to get fun from the game, so if you can get it through the exploration of new characters and movesets then it's a good thing (more can be interesting to enter in new playstyles).

By the way Master seem always able to make the impossible with Ryu, so there is maybe really something that can be done with this character even in the current status, even if maybe you have to rely more on reflexes and good reads than on safeness and guaranteed damage.

In any cases I really hope that the online will be soon available. I'm getting a lot of fun with DoA on PC through mods and challenges against impossible AI feats xD... but to play with other real people it's all another story of course

Yes, thumbnails are preferable to even spoiler tags. It's just that some people would rather use URL embeds than upload directly to FSD. But if that method is fine for you, go for it!

Master can do amazing things because he is one of the absolute best DOA players in the world, and has also mastered the meta-game in a peculiar and oddly intriguing way.

But, that doesn't change that fact that playing Hayabusa is just putting you at a laughable disadvantage. If Master poured all the time he puts into Busa into another character, I believe he would seldom ever lose a tournament he entered.
